Sculpture to the 150th anniversary of Pumpėnai Secondary School

This sculpture was unveiled on the 29th September 2012. Its author is a former pupil of Pumpėnai school, a folk artist Pranas Janulevičius. A priest Virginijus Taučkėla, who also studied there, consecrated the monument. This sculpture depicts a stupm from which blades of grass sprout. It is like a school where pupils desires, wishes and dreams sprout. Finally, a time comes when the students, like there portraied birds, fly away from a school.
