Stone monument to the village of Kiemėnai

In the centre of the village of Kiemėnai, next to the bus stop, a stone monument stands with the inscription on its plaque of granite: "First historical mention of Kiemėnai dates back in 1554". This is the most important witness to the history of the village. The memorial plaque was unveiled in 1994.
